Sense and Sensibility Sock yarn plus pattern. The cuff is purled so that it can be turned over and is a variation of a lace pattern from a book published in the late 19th century. (not feather and fan). The heel and top use a heel pattern I borrowed from a designer friend. It's a bit like Eye of Partridge, but not quite. All of that makes these socks cute and feminine, but totally sensible!
