A fairly simple sock pattern for a turn-down lacy cuff sock!
This cute little sock was designed specifically for the Castle Fibers Jane Austen Yarn Club... The cuff is purled inside out, so that it turns down! The top ruffles a bit, and is a bit lacy... just enough lace to be romantic, but not so much that it isn't sensible. The cuff lace is a variation of a lace pattern from the 19th century. The heel flap and the top of the foot use a stitch that is almost Eye of Partridge, but not quite. These are not too hard for a beginner and interesting enough for an experienced knitter!
